Annotation: Margaret and Charles learn about time traveling from three unique women.  Will they help Margaret and Charles find their father?



Book Talk: Margaret Murray is the oldest of four siblings. There are the twins Sandy and Denny and the youngest Charles Wallace who is considered "Dumb" because he does not talk much. Their mother is a scientist and so is their father. Their father was working on a science project for the government until he mysteriously disappeared. They wonder what has happened to him. Charles Wallace has a friend named Mrs. Whatsit. He introduces Margaret and their friend Calvin to her. She tells them about The Wrinkle in Time which allows you to travel through space in the shortest amount of time. This makes them curious and they wonder if their father used this for his science experiment. Will they use the Wrinkle to find their father? If they do find him, will they be able to come back home.
