Annotation: Bella's  birthday party does not go well and this leads to Edward and his family leaving.  How will Bella survive without him?

Book Talk: Bella's 17th birthday party is at the Cullen's house and while she is opening her presents she gets a paper cut.  Jasper sees it and goes to attack her. Edward stops him.  A few days after the attack, Edward tells Bella that he and his family are leaving and he does not love her.  Bella is devestated. Life is empty without Edward and she turns to Jacob for support.  Alice Cullen sees Bella do something dangerous and comes back to check on Bella. While she is with Bella, she sees a vision of Edward going to the Volturi and asking them to kill him since he can't live without Bella.  Can Alice and Bella arrive in time to stop Edward and if they do, what will happen between Bella, Edward and Jacob?
